Gas Analyzers
The GCS250 combines Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide readings in one easy-to-use handheld package.
This unit features a backlit LCD, perfect for low-light situations. Using a longer life electrochemical Oxygen sensor, zero-calibration is extremely stable and the reading-in air is adjustable with the face-mounted span control. The carbon dioxide is measured using a miniature infrared sensor that is highly stable and requires no routine calibration.
Features include a Rechargeable battery, Stable CO2, Long-Life O2 sensor, Electric Pump, Portable, Reliable and most of all simple to operate.
The GCS100 is an inexpensive hand held oxygen sensor that uses an electrochemical oxygen sensor in a range from 0-25%. Sampling is achieved using a hand pump, and a 9V battery supplies power to the cell and LCD display for 1,000+ hours.
The GCS110 adds a small electric pump inside the unit, while the GCS110LV, pictured at right, uses a smaller sensor for more precise readings at low volume levels.
The GCS221 Ambient Oxygen Alarm can be used for a variety of applications where low oxygen level alarms need to occur. Ambient oxygen sampling is by diffusion. The controller is set to alarm when ambient oxygen falls below 19% (adjustable). Calibration at 21% is carried out using the panel buttonson the Dixel Controller.
GCS560 Ethylene Analyser
The GCS560 analyser is a simple hand held instrument that provides a direct reading of the ethylene concentration within a produce storage or ripening area.
This measurement, which in the past has been difficult and expensive, provides readings that can be used to optimise ethylene injection into a ripening room. In storage rooms where low ethylene is essential, checks can be made that the ventilation and ethylene removal systems are operating correctly. The minimum resolution of 0.2 ppm makes this instrument very useful for most products and for the ultra ethylene sensitive products such as Kiwi Fruit, a reading on this machine will indicate severe storage atmosphere problems.

The ICA40 system is a versatile Oxygen & Carbon Dioxide analyser principally designed for use in post-harvest laboratories and for testing modified atmosphere packaging.
The ICA41 analyser uses high quality and accurate gas sensors. A miniature paramagnetic cell is used for Oxygen and an Infra red detector for CO2. Both sensors have been chosen for the minimum possible sample volume.
The usefulness of these very low volumes is enhanced with 3 separate sampling modules for different applications.
The ICA42 has a small pump and is optimised for sampling from packages or small enclosed volumes with a tube and needle.
The ICA43 uses a constant flow of carrier gas into which a sample with a volume as low as 0.5mL can be injected.
The line up is completed with the ICA44, which is suitable for general laboratory work with pumped and pressurised samples.
