T6 / T8 Duo

New systems combine the energy saving Prism Pressure technology with the pulldown capacity of a standard Permea nitrogen generator.  With the press of a button, one of the multiple Prism separators is dedicated to a 7.5 HP compressor and a separate outlet.  This process may then provide service to one or several leaky rooms.

Series II SmartScrubber News

For 2008 we have redesigned the larger models of the Series II twin-bed scrubber. This is an effort to keep prices down while competing with the rising costs of raw materials.  We have also made available a LITE Series that eliminates features that some customers may not utilize.

We are proud to offer the full range of Carbon Dioxide scrubbers from 20 kgs to over 1700 kgs of scrubbing capacity at 3.0% CO2.

Prism Pressure Models Expanded

Storage Control Systems, Inc. has expanded their Prism Pressure lineup this year.  We have four production models to suit your needs, with more on the way.  The oilless air compressors have proved to be very reliable and cost effective.  They eliminate the potential of oil destroying the hollow fiber Permea modules and require less maintenance costs without Kaeser compressor oil changes.

We offer greater CFM output than ever before by using multiple motors and pumps. This arrangement offers energy savings and flexibility later in the season for the storage operator. Pulldown would utilize all the horsepower, but a leaky room may only require a fraction of the capacity.

New Temperature Controller

The GCS 201 Electronic Temperature Controller is available as a retrofit to the DBI 225 Coolstat, or as a standalone unit.   It is also an option to stack several controllers into one centrally located box.

The new units offer a variable deadband for very tight temperature control which is critical for fruit storage.

Our more sophisticated PLC-based temperature systems offer energy saving features and accurate control.  PLC systems are available with a 6 or 8” color touchscreen that can be viewed through the Internet for up-to-the-minute status of current temperatures throughout the facility

SCS Splitter

SCS has developed a room partitioning system that facilitates the use of 1-MCP treatments on small lots.  Vinyl material and our exclusive curtain design make a perfect transition area inside your existing CA rooms.  Other divider and chamber solutions are available, of which the SmartChamber is the most versatile.

For 2008, we have released a new method to easily attach the curtains to the wall, resulting in tighter and safer fastening.
